Positives:
- Nice design.
- HDMI 2.0 with 4: 4: 4 at 60Hz.
Negatives:
- Significant IPS Glow / halos in 3 corners. Movies and games with dark images therefore look very ugly.
- Very poor upscaling (focus) in 1080p, the unit should be strictly operated natively in 4K.
- Intrusive Blue / Orange Power LED. Can fortunately the OSD off.
I tested the unit at my old GTX580 in 1080p via HDMI. Due to the poor upscaling, the device is not suitable for the Desktop in this resolution. Currently, I am still waiting for my GTX980 for 4k with HDMI 2.0
The quality in 4K I have a 4K-compatible Android Box tested which is connected via HDMI 2.0 to the monitor. The image quality of movies in 4K can convince.
The choice on the Acer fell 2.0 suitability due to the HDMI.
Due to strong halos in this price range I consider to return the unit back.
