Welcome Back Bizkit

Gold Cobra (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Beaten It is six years now ago that Fred Durst and Co. "The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1)" published. Your gigantic album "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water" is now even back already only eleven years. Now the Golden Cobra is finally unleashed on the masses and one thing I can guarantee you: It is poisonous!

Actually, the record should be published in early 2010. However, it did not work and so the disc is only now on the shelves.

For CD cover and the booklet is to be considered not say much: Very stylish! But enough of the talk, we are dedicated to LP:

After the opener "Introbra", which represents an ingenious play on words, it comes with the same title track "Gold Cobra" going immediately. This song has really everything Limp Bizkit is strength / e: Brilliant guitar riffs a la Wes, brutal bass of Rivers and of course the unique voice of singer Fred Durst. Just hit potential - no wonder it was the second single release.
In addition, among the 13 songs are also a couple of pearls you probably only once hot listening needs, which also has a positive effect.
The 1st single "Shotgun", which is probably the Live killer par excellence, offers a nice balance between great rock passages and still tolleren rap style.
Next in the program it comes with "Get a Life", which is hard to beat in aggressiveness hardly (reminds a little bit of "Indigo Flow" from SF) - live these outbursts will come off properly determined.

With "Douche Bag" the ax would be extracted and another groove monster is unleashed on the amount. Anger, hatred, despair - the classic components of Rock 'n Roll also added Fred Durst a powerful kick in the pants. The boy had long gone as much bite as on this album.

Other songs like "Autotunage", "90.2.10" ^^ or "Shark Attack" should also be mentioned at this point, since they also are among the Hitgiganten Album. The tracks that lyrically and musically can suck less be counted on one hand, for example, can not hold a candle to the somewhat lame "Killer In You" and the lengthy track "Loser" the rest of the songs.

Another very successful number remains "Walking Away" (long known in advance!), Which is very reminiscent of songs like "It''ll be ok" and "Boiler" from CSATHDFL and otherwise by their gentle nature from the crowd stands -> great songwriting combined with an unusually soulful voice thirst -> insider tip!

An ace in the hole have Fred Durst and Co. but still: Why Try!
Here the listener is an explosive mix of energetic power vocals, nested bass grooves and razor-sharp guitar riffs geboten-> TOP!
