Have the lamp as "always there" in my volunteer work (emergency medical services) thereby. The manufacturer's instructions, I can confirm. The lamp (rather: a bulb) is inconspicuous when it must be very bright and pleasant on request "dark" (dimmed). Reliable. Long battery life. Very good workmanship. I have several Fenix lamps in use, even the "big brother" LD 22 and will remain loyal to this brand. The included belt pouch is also quite practical and well made. The belt clip has a very good spring, so that the lamp, once clipped, will make only highly unlikely on their own. The value for money is good. Not exactly cheap, but good!
