Also you need to know: The unit plays the images either in alphabetical order or in date order from (!). They are played in the order they were played on the USB memory / memory card (at least that is the result of various attempts have been).
Since I wanted the photos anyway in coincidence I proceeded as follows:
First compile 1st images on the computer.
2. In the console (on Windows cygwin install) the following command on this folder apply:
for file in * .jpg; do name = $ (tr -dc "[: alnum:]"
(Note: I'm assuming that the images are named with smaller file extension)
Through this command the files are randomly named. Maximum length of 8 characters because the digital photo frame does not support long filenames.
3. Copy all of the photos on the memory (USB flash drive / memory card). Because of the random naming the files that files are written in a random order in the memory.
The performance of the device is very manageable. It is strongly recommended to reduce the images to the maximum displayable image size, otherwise the loading of the images takes a long time. Also, the change in the menu or turning the images is a time ordeal.
Therefore: ok for continuous playback in a slide show if you yourself happen to sort the images.
