The Wüsthof knife sharpener is now for several weeks now in use. Mainly I use the fine ceramic stage. This happens in most diameters simply now and then after rinsing. The blades so stay sharp enough for my purposes. On a really dull paring knife I also tested how sharp the sharper the gets back. My expectations were exceeded, now you can with a knife cut vegetables again, even if I would rather have bought a new one.
Conclusion: Good for a household in which the knife should just stay pleasantly sharp. If knives are quite dull then you access probably better to something else.
