I belong to the exotic contemporaries who clearly do not come good with the geometry of the most current 15.6-inch notebook, but still have one: - | Through the built-in most models numeric keypad and touchpad are too far to the left and thus in a different axis as a screen and notebook casing. If I have the notebook on your lap, bothers me a lot and I think that is an ergonomic disaster. Since the operation on the touch pad makes up the greater part of my work, I've bought the Peripad. The touchpad of the NBs, I have disabled and stuck the Peripad with double-sided tape centered on the palm rest. Sounds hypersensitive, funny or violent - designed my work but a lot of pleasant-symmetrical and works by the low level of Peripads of 11 mm very good.
Response is minimsl less sensitive like in my Acer TravelMate P253, but more sensitive than the older 5720 and entirely satisfactory. It is very easy to operate, accurate and has good pressure points. the 4 rubber feet keep it quite well if a silicone mat while still would have been to increase the slip resistance yet, there 5 *, so there are 4.4 * Price / performance ratio is great!
