Leaving aside the interpretations that are not within its scheme of thought, the author reconstructs the Romanesque through a chronological vision somewhat artificial. Finally the author proposes a reductive vision of the Roman art and its complexity. Formally, we are surprised that this renowned researcher proposes plans with different scales, and the bibliography forgets obviously knowingly some reference authors of the period.
