What a great idea to make a series about the inner workings of an orchestra in New York. It offers the perfect combination of intrigue, gossip, and personal problems, but so is about making great music. I pretty much watched all the episodes straight through and loved every one. The acting is top - my favorites were the characters of Saffron Burrows, Hannah Dunne and Gael Garcia Bernal, but everyone else was good, too. There are scenes did make you laugh out loud, did scenes are over the top but still fun, and it works on all levels, even remaining believable. I truly hope thatthere are many more seasons in the making and thatthis concept finds its fans. If you're tired of the drama and violence of "Breaking Bad," "Homeland" and similar series, you might find this refreshing and fun.
