Customer Review

Not without reason was Olubowale Victor Akintimehin shortly whales in 2008 with the signature of his contract with the label Interscope an advance in seven figures.

With some published previously mixtapes he had quickly made a name in the underground of the East Coast. With Attention Deficit put a native of Washington DC rapper with Nigerian roots back then also an impressive debut. The rap heavyweight Rick Ross became aware of him and engaged the rhyme talent for his record label Maybach Music, where he met Ambition published two years ago another strong album, without leaving his hitherto chosen path. Although the sound has changed a little, but to carve his way stories in stone remained impressively high.

You might have heard whales the most natural rappers in the business. To float its way over the beats without completely withdraw investigated currently has no equal in the partially quite monotonous scene. Months ago, he gave for The Gifted the direction and stressed that his third album will be strongly influenced by the Soul. For 16 tracks he has indeed taken a lot of features in the vocal booth, but this distorts its unique sound but no way subordinate to clever, not to wrest the scepter whales. Even the ballads bath with Tiara Thomas and Bricks are very chilled and succeeded, and also Tired of Dreaming with R'n'B star Ne-Yo and Rick Ross definitely has hit potential.

Wale describes many songs his previous path as an artist, sounds grown up and promises to the listener that he will not bend for money and power, this is always remembered where he comes from and how it is grown. He sounds happy and satisfied, but of course, the pants hanging on a couple of songs to be deeply, the boots are ungeschnürt and the baseball cap is pulled down over his face. The Club Joints certainly include rotation with Wiz Khalifa & 2 Chainz, Clappers and the anthem Heaven's Afternoon with Meek Mill, another rapper of Maybach Music Garde. In this song he describes probably best that it was a long hard road for him where him nobody would have expected a few years ago!

What makes this album, however, to a very large are the completely carefree opener Love Hate Thing with a grandiose Hook Sam Dew, and the geschwängerte with plenty Disco Attitude Smash Gullible, for which he has Cee Lo Green fished as a partner. In addition to Just Blaze the this country still unknown producer Tone P was responsible for some tracks, additional guest Parts come from, among others Juicy J., Nicki Minaj and Rihanna (Bad Remix). Without any airs and graces and with respect for captivating beats Wale has brought here a fantastic summer music to the starting line, which will run for a long time on rotation with me!
