"Just One Night", the concert recording from December in 1979 the Budokan in Tokyo heard recognized as one of the best live albums of Eric Clapton. Under the ASIN 4988005525529 a Japanese Cardboard Sleeve edition of "Just One Night" was released a few weeks ago, in Minaturartwork of the then double LP album and with two SHM-CDs. Whether it is now up to the nature or the resulting sonic advantages of SHM-CDs or even a secret, because unmentioned in the booklet new remastering, this Japan-edition waits sound-wise over the years in this country as part of the "Eric Clapton Remasters" published version with such excess profits of transparency and space that one can only be amazed! In some places I imagined myself in a smooth shrunken on club size Budokan, immediately before the stage.
Better, because even more powerful, sounds "Just One Night" only on the two MFSL Gold CDs from 1994! These are more expensive than the two SHM-CDs, there are also worth!
