The AH !!! What emotions !!! Although this novel is not my favorite of Laura K. (loved the "Green Crown"), I understand that this allows American author to access a higher recognition threshold. Great skill in storytelling seems indeed essential to take along with the inner monologue of Holly, just interspersed with conversations with his daughter, and dialogues on the phone. I'm still blown away by the talent of the writer to describe the parent-teen relationships, and we delve into the intricacies of female intimacy, especially maternal love and intra-family, friends and social relationships. However, I must admit that the time was able to 3/4 of the novel, seem to me a little bit long, when hysteria earned ... not that I tell if I got bored or felt too oppressed by endless closed doors? .... But I did well to hold on, finish, indescribable, is simply masterful. Read so.
