I have now tried the belt at four different devices, two laptops, two mobile phones of newer design, Sony Ericcson and Samsung Galaxy 3, both with Android> 4.0, all has not helped. As such, the device is completely incompatible with everything except one has perhaps an iPhone, where there lies the point?
