Granted by a "mega-zoom" camera can not expect high outstanding images, but what produces the Cooloix P600, is "creepy" quite benevolent circumscribed, especially if one takes full advantage of the zoom. But let's start at the operation. Anyone familiar with the P510 or P520 is immediately to cope with the operation. The controls are numerous and well positioned. In general, the whole operation is well thought out. The camera does not have a touch screen, can get over by it. However, there is a problem with the speed. Everything seems tough and lame. The switching from shooting to playback mode or vice versa, takes an eternity. The "Wi-Fi connectivity" of the camera is fine. The connection to an Android phone worked fine. With the Nikon own app, images can be view, transmit and control your camera remotely. On rotating and tilting LCD monitor can not be faulted, viewing angles and brightness are good. The viewfinder Nikon would have but can save. The same is grainy and lame as with previous models. Quasi useless. The stabilizer works pretty well, but you should not expect miracles from the advertised "Active mode". Now we come to the quality of the images. Noise is inevitable in the small sensor size, it also changes a "CMOS sensor with rear exposure" nothing. Here one must not expect miracles, but the noise is within the acceptable range. Well you can buy a "mega-zoom" camera because of the "mega-zoom" which the P600 but at 1440mm KB provides equivalent, but is simply crap. If you have a 100% crop so look at a recording, you will feel at works of Claude Monet recalls. Despite very good lighting conditions produced the camera, at longer focal lengths, gritty, muddy-looking images. During the recordings I had the way to dispense with the stabilizer and used a tripod. Since I have a P510, I have made times with two cameras shooting in KB 1000mm equivalent. What the old P510 is produced far better. What the P600 is disqualified entirely of extremely lame autofocus. The slowness in operation, continues here. Special for large focal lengths wobbles back and focus. As can ever 2 to 3 seconds pass until the subject is captured in focus. The P510 takes only a fraction of that time with the same settings. An "snapshots" is not to think. In short, for my taste, this camera is useless. So I let them also return. Who wants to have a lot of "Zoom" in a small space, should be better access to the P520. The costs half and produced better images.
