This novel is not a classic thriller, far from it. 4th and coverage does not help us at all ... In other words, there has inside does not match what is written on it. This book talks mainly the FLQ (Front de Libération du Québec) that made the headlines in Canada (and elsewhere!) In the 70s. It also emphasizes a lot on the language issue in Canada (French / English), the rivalries between fonts (see in France: police / gendarmerie) and this gives an unclassifiable book but interesting and very well written (but often mistranslated, alas ). Small bonus: some hilarious formulas, I let you find them. They pick you by surprise and you can not to burst out laughing while the general purpose is very serious (but not boring!). I like this author I had read "forty words for snow." His stories are very detailed and dense, I will continue to read his work.
