I have to anticipate that I am the absolute HU-Fangirl since No 5. I have always been particularly impressed with the hardness in combination with the Rap and the beautiful harmonies. My particular favorites are tracks like Levitate, Young, Undead. But until now, I never found a track on a not good HU album. Each had its charm, passion and this very special flair! There are, without question, great tracks on the album that inspire me. After all, there are still the same guys who have also written albums such Notes from the Underground. But the direction in which the vast majority of the songs has developed, convinced me, unfortunately not. Too much drum'n'bass influence, too many club tracks. It is true that in songs like "Party By Myself" is just quite clearly the influence of the current pop music heard. For me, this is just not a title I'd time so click between. That I had been looking forward to this record as long really disappointing. I also think that Danny's grandiose voice barely coming on this album to bear. Nevertheless, still a few songs for my taste. Usual Suspects, Day of the Dead or let go I find great. With titles like Dark Places or Save Me in my opinion was followed rather halfheartedly. The choruses are for the ratios, as they are usually terrific at Hollywood Undead, half-baked and the riffs rather ordinary. Pity! Nevertheless, there will be for each fan one or the other song, for which it pays to have the plate!
