Where have you been my blue-eyed son? He reigns too much confusion

This disc is intended probably and foremost, people who like Francis Cabrel not necessarily be interested in Bob Dylan unduly. In these conditions, we can love this record because it is "honest", unlike those who persist on me with their Vote Not Useful.

For those like me who are more interested than Dylan Francis Cabrel, is less convincing because of course, inevitably at some point, the comparison is done.

So I assigned so entirely subjective, 3 stars:
- For music that brings up a very homogeneous and very credible group in this exercise,
- For the courage and the humility of Cabrel and his Lord's approach to go seek not always obvious reasons for not stepping on broken Hugues Auffray,
- Because the journey of this guy is nice, in his image.

Cabrel has felt the danger of a literal adaptation and sometimes tries to escape, but that does not work and the will to make sense of the often floor plate.
Of course, this is the most famous songs of Dylan that exercise proves more perilous and there, I think we are off the mark: "Just like a woman", "All along the Watchtower" "Simple Twist of Fate" or "I want you" ... The worst arriving with "It's all over now baby blue". Nothing but the translation of the title ("... Baby Blue") shows that Cabrel failed transcribe the universe bard and appropriate it.

This was in my opinion perfectly with faithful adaptation of "Rosie" Jackson Browne "sarbacanne" works less well here. The result is therefore a little school.
But it's hard to blame him for that matter, so the challenge was almost impossible.

Capdevielle (yes, I know ...) is still for me, one that has best approached this universe even get into the house to pique brazenly trinkets.
But Francis thank you for trying.
