"Nebraska" is a road movie on the way out there in the far reaches of the spent American Midwest - and Orton follows the actors of the film with its melancholic farewell tour of the stations of its end-leaning musical life after. We have here heartrending American Folk ahead. Sometimes penetrates as through a thin membrane in addition by an idea from Bluegrass to us. The board is supported by a slightly verstolperten three-quarter-stroke motif, always resumed by other instruments, moves to slight variations like exhaling through the 17 tracks. I have not seen since the waltz Gipsi soundtrack of 17 Hippies to Dresen's "Half staircase" with a folk core under a film so much sentiment and listening pleasure.
Art-Folk, without being overly intellectual. Poignant, amazing and magical!
