"Junge Römer" is the only album of Falco, I have lying around on an original Teldec-MC 1984 in the car (the last MC, which I still have) and I to this day when driving at night through my city with a Annual volume worthy. What to say: From start to finish just solid title; the bass lines in the intro of "My Daughter", in "No Answer" or "Brillantin 'brutal" have neat Kawumm. The texts belong to Falco's best ("Where we are is the beginning. Are we back, then back forward, relentlessly!"). This album is just perfect. If the term were not so worn out, might be called timeless "Junge Römer". It is probably also the perfectionism and ambition of producer Robert Perger who then helped to create something lasting. In any case this all sounds not at all 1980 and yesterday's definitely better than most titles from Falco Bolland / Bolland-time, to say nothing of Mende / DEROUGE entirely. Yes one of my greatest wishes retro today the long overdue DVD release of "Heroes of Today" TV show, which was produced for this album. The true Falco fan knows what I mean, and probably shares my desire.
