At first I thought yes "great, a Christmas album of Whitney Houston," but then I thought of her voice lately and was apprehensive whether they can convey carols with the necessary emotions. When I had listened to the album for the first time, I was thrilled. THE VOICE IS BACK !!! Ok, her voice sounds not so like to Bodyguard times, but it is better than the last album JUST WHITNEY and even better than that of MY LOVE IS YOUR LOVE. The voice is similar to ONE WISH much of the time, when she had received THE PREACHERS WIFE. And this album was great !!! Highly recommended on One Wish are the songs: Little Drummer Boy (with her daughter), O Holy Night (breathtaking), Deck the Halls / Silent Night (wonderful newly composed) and the title track One Wish (which is very well sung at the beginning but then, after a very high note it sounds suddenly hoarse) this is my only complaint about the album, which is otherwise very good indeed produced and sung. All Dear fit together beautifully and are excellent ausgewält. For all the Christmas songs like this album is highly recommended. There are many Christmas albums, but only one with the best voice of all time - ONE WISH
