I have lost count how many times I "Highway To Hell" already up and down part had! One thing is definitely clear to me and each new hearing reaffirmed my belief that this piece of music can not be of this world. Not one faint sound can be found on this album and the songs sound even after more than two decades still brutal, dirty and unused than anything nowadays complains to rock and "heavy metal". On the title track Needless to take unspecified, because the distinctive guitar riff, should probably every ever got to hear in his life. The song brought the world wide breakthrough for the Australian and is still regarded as her trademark. Who now but thinks: "theme song super and the rest average commodity!" Is deviated and I can only say: "No Fillers, Just Killers" Every other song is a class of its own and goes down like oil. Whether the sick rocking "Shot Down In Flames", the somewhat gloomy "Walk All Over You", or the brief but no less triumphant "Get It Hot". Each song goes off the post! My absolute favorites are but undoubtedly "Touch Too Much" and "Night Prowler". Two songs, the title track even surpass. never been Bon Scott's voice better than in "Night Prowler" and his simpelen, incoming texts are unmatched in their simple poetic genius today. Unfortunately, should "Highway To Hell" the last album with this great singer to be, who died a few months after the release (RIP) His excessive lifestyle that also appears sufficiently in his lyrics, Bon Scott was undoing. In conclusion therefore remains only to say that anyone who does lay claim to be on good, earthy rock, metal but also rock 'n' roll and this record does not already own, you should quickly incorporate the local music collection. The "Digi-pack" of "Epic Records" (Sony) I can highly recommend. Super sound quality, but without distorting the typical AC / DC sound, a nice booklet and a ridiculously low price speak for an investment that is worth every penny. You will not regret it !!!!
