Well, I'm not at my first purchase of this super collection of Marabout.
I find very well done, always very well illustrated and this is still the case for "Brownies and New York."
Well, the aim when I make recipes American origins, is that it is almost the same.
And yes, the Americans are soft and brownies so good. But not simple to find a corresponding and almost similar recipe.
But we must admit that this book is very close to it.
You will for all tastes and all the inspirations.
I like to decline the basic recipe and include new ingredients.
There are a total of 14 recipes brownies, including the classic brownie. Very simple and one I adapted it and adds pieces of Snikers (or something else in the same genre) including or caramel.
You will also have some recipes for icings and toppings (from the first pages).
But it's not just brownies in this book.
You can also make sqaures, I could describe as a two-layer cakes.
You see Twix? Well it's almost the same, without the topping that covers it.
The square can be broken Lemon (Yum), but also pumpkin (pumpkin at super season and finding based squash recipes). But the best known is the Millionaire's shortbread (which is kind of Twix) and is so good.
So overall a great book with simple recipes and not just brownies.
A nice purchase that will satisfy many gourmets.
I am pleased with this book and I like it enough size "medium". Easy to handle.
By cons not easy to fit onto a precise recipe, it always closes.
