The Songs:
01 Run Away: Michas voice is clean and just beautiful. In the beginning a little quieter, but gains quickly momentum and sets the chorus then properly. One of my personal favorite songs. I was just super sing at the concerts.
02 Jump Before We Fall: Begins equal a little faster and of course with our (my) beloved guitar Micha makes so. The song in the chorus really animated to jump with and not infrequently I hopped through my apartment while I had heard the song.
03 Army Of Hope: I personally do not like it so real. I can with this song just does not really identify. Nevertheless, it's a really successful song that you can listen to beautiful with a great text. Michas voice is super clear, especially at the beginning of the choruses.
04 Heard You Crying: I doubt that he has heard me cry, both on the CD and live I had tears in his eyes and had to really try not to cry right off. A very poignant song, even now I could cry with.
05 Im Not Gonna Find You: This is another one of those songs that I liked not so good. Clear his voice sounds great and I like that too, but the melody I do not find so appealing. What exactly bothers me because I could not even tell you because it's just that somehow Total
06 You Said You Grow Old With Me: when I saw Micah in this song on stage, with the tears in his eyes, because my heart is melted. The devotion with which he sings this song is just amazing and close to indescribable. The pain in his voice is physically and the atmosphere suggests simply getting around in this song.
07 Higher: Once again something faster and happier. The song builds up from the first note and culminates in the chorus (as so often). In the you just have to sing along, whether. At the concert, at home or in the subway This song just carry on and sing eyes.
08 Wide Awake: beginning with a great guitar part. A song where I could relax super good and sleep, which is not a negative review. In this song his voice remains about the same level and does not fluctuate as much. Quiet, gentle and beautiful.
09 Take Me As I Am: It begins very peppy and maintains the pace actually pretty good at. But best I still find the chorus. On the concert I've sung so loudly, after that I was hot and even now I hop in my room in the morning to around. You simply can not sit still, it does not work!
10 Marching Man: Yes, Marching Man. Live I think it's really great, but on the CD like it somehow did not. This is now not to Micah, but rather to me. I like this kind of songs just do not.
11 Beautiful Live: The Song of Rea fits perfectly to Micah. For once with piano, since he usually has a guitar in the foreground, my piano like it here very well. Is something else. Throughout Quiet it is rather not a song for rumhüpfen, but still really nice.
12 Never Said I Love You: At the beginning it is a quiet song at the chorus but it draws attention once again to tidy and Micha gives both the pacing, as well as the voice rather gas. I like it very well.
13 Holding Back The Fire (Acoustic): Only with guitar and his voice. Really very beautiful, while the purity of his voice is very good effect. It's really amazing what a clear voice he has.
14 Youll Be Alright (Acoustic): The second Acoustic version on his album starts even slower than the first. Again, one realizes that he has a beautiful voice. The song remains consistently slow and is simply beautiful and relaxant.
Overall impression:
A truly remarkable achievement in my opinion. There are so many great songs on this album. It's a real shame that Michael not often on the radio. Especially since I find the choice of first Singel (Jump Before We Fall) really awesome. A better song he could not choose.
Although there are some songs that I like personally not so good, I forgive 5/5 stars, because I find the whole package just great.
