WIFI MAX works 100% (and knowing)

Since we have a Wii and DS lite, I had previously informed me exactly what I wanted to buy. We have a normal DSL modem (no wireless). Thus came to me only the Nintendo WIFI connector or MAX in question to use WIFI can. More then one does not need. These serve as access point and be connected via a USB connection to the PC. To then use WIFI, the PC must be on.

The Nintendo connector was getting nowhere. Therefore I have decided for the WIFI MAX.

Basic with me:

1.WIFI MAX does not work under Windows XP but with Vista.
2.Erst once all work off what is in the instructions.

Then:
When WIFI MAX Railink the software is:
a) One has to Channel (channel) 11 enter (default Channel 1).
b) You must be CHANGED under Security Setting the security level.
Security setting for the WII, -left: Open-, -right: Not use-.
Security setting for the DSlite, -left: Open-, -right: WEP.

I have found through trial and error.

All I can say that the security settings are set very low (Nintendo's fault). Furthermore, you must switch back the security settings (as described above), depending on the console (Wii or DS Lite).

It should be first tried to get into the WII WIFI mode. That's simple.

Furthermore, still had to be adjusted several small things. The most stands but in the instructions.
Does not work, just try around everything.
