I purchased this product because in my attic-the hot air WG formally jams and so the temperature difference to be happy out there is sometimes several degrees, even with closed shutters. As a student air conditioning is too expensive and too large; so I wanted something that I could assimilate quickly the air inside and outside and thus also get fresh air into the apartment. Here in the city too little wind and the night is too much noise, to reach the just through open windows.

Well, what can I say? The AEG "Wind Machine" offers just that in the low price segment. At its lowest setting, the air flow exceeds the table of a conventional fan already noticeable, level three is a bit more again. Promoted air volume: large.

Many reviewers complain about high noise, the fan will be compared for example with a Ju-52. That's an exaggeration. The engine itself is only a low hum, like a turned-on tube televisions, of itself. The air itself generates an audible noise, but it is not so strong that you could-now only talk screaming most model airplanes make even more noise, not to mention quite right. For the funded amount of air it is almost silent. When watching TV or listening to music but it bothers already, can sleep next to you do not really.
As mentioned before: Those looking for a quiet unit eg for continuous operation in the workplace, which is wrong here. It's more to ventilate well and eg hot / fresh air in a (unheated / windowless) to get hallway.
Wonderful for my purposes.
TIP: If you leave him to blow through wet-hung laundry, is through the evaporation cold air behind it really colder (a fan is not cooling otherwise yes, actually it heats even unnoticeable) and also the laundry is dry more quickly. A blessing in the heat when it's hot outside also. A single wet towel or a cup ice cubes in front also works wonders ;-)

The quality of the unit is for the present day really well. Full Metal (also the motor housing) up on rubber buffers, switches (box), cables and connectors. The cable is a bit short, anything between 1.50 to 2m. The plastic housing of the motor is quite thick, so stable.
The rotor, however, has a slight imbalance, but through the rubber buffer on suspension and chassis carries over nothing on the ground, at least not in my copy. It is stable and easy to adjust, but keep safe in this position. If this is not so, can tighten the nuts on the frame to which are hidden optically advantageous under plastic caps (at suspensions outside). Incidentally, there is at the rear carrying handle.
Overall, the device is very high. For the cable are behind two hoes for winding. Tips or sharp edges, no, I noticed the device is probably quite safe for children. One shortcoming, however, there still: The cable fits through the grid column, here we must not be naïve and children alike to be careful that it does not get any lies about it and falls for. Otherwise on weight: The unit is surprisingly light for its size, the weight is easy to transport, an estimated 3-5 Kg for an adult.
