Wind noise

The headband itself served its purpose: it keeps the ears warm. A further plus point: it sits, because it is wider only around the ears, the neck but then again less wide. This is not always pushes it away from the ears, if you put the head back (such as cycling).

However, it has to allow the ears a couple of holes, probably to better hearing through the thin but quite impervious Windstopper material. Conditionally Maybe through these holes breaks there the wind and there are quite unpleasant loud wind noise. My thicker fleece headband (but no wind stopper) does not do that.
