The fan hums fine to himself. For the size I find the moving air mass impressed, especially as the noise really is limited. The Vent is not louder than the fan noise of my PCs. The three rubber surfaces below the uprising Ironing leave the USB fan stand firmly on the table. Very convenient is also the on-off switch on the back, because you then need the part is not off and plug in the switch. I have the same even worried me a USB power adapter, so that I can put in my bed next to leave the unit as well. Is a real alternative to 220 volt Minivents. Will report on the long-term suitability yet. So far, the part full 5 stars. Supplement (2015): Runs after 3 years still perfectly.
