Winner of the heart

I admit ... when it comes to my camera I'm usually reluctant to compromise. I like to buy quality and I expect with each product a long shelf life and a certain value. My objective Park is positioned accordingly.
Why I bought a quite favorable objective for this focal length can be explained quite simply. The range of 85 and 200 mm is the area least used of me. It was therefore important to me to find a lightweight and easy to transporting glass, because it is indeed more worn than mounted.
Above all, I was very curious about the 55-200 as it has everywhere very good reviews. Then there were the many photos that I have looked at on pixelpeeper.

As Materialfetischist initially I was a bit skeptical, the Nikon is very light and also has a plastic mount. When nothing is why I have to break in excitement for now. When the first pictures I then noticed that the VR makes a clear click sound ... something which I did not like so much. I'm a bit strange.
Accordingly I expected from photos is not really much and what can I say ... I was disabused.

In terms of sharpness, color and bokeh I can only break out into cheers with respect to the price really. The technical side as the AF and the stabilizer, I can only praise.

It's incredible what image quality Nikon delivers itself with this lens.
Conclusion: top glass for a very reasonable price.
