I have just tested the micro extensively with my iPhone 3Gs and unfortunately harvested very much noise and sound interruptions and crashes. When App held forth Fire 2 Field Recorder in the first place - but also other apps did not persuade an acceptable sound quality. Although no dropouts but also much too low, therefore extremely noisy. I myself have an existing studio with div. Mics and desks, have therefore sound expertise. My claims were still low, after all, it is a mobile phone and a favorable micro itself.
However, this right back as even the 5-Euro Mic mounting variations is now for Amazon work better (I also bought). No dropouts and better level. The bad sound is of course used only for notes or placeholder text.
So I have no buy recommendation in this situation - different combinations with apps like possibly work ... My iOS Version: 4.3
