I have thoroughly tested this charger with the new iPod / iPhone:

It actually delivers 1 amp and works for me without any problems with the new iPod Touch 3G with 64GB and the iPhone 3GS 32GB.

Only with the new nano 5G gabs problems: The connector clamps, if you want it just plug it horizontally. It must be inserted slightly angled here, he also fits the Nano. 5

I particularly liked the fact that is the plug grid that versentliches peeling can be prevented.

Update (19.9.2010):
works fine with an iPod touch 4, iPhone 4 and Nano 6
