I've bought a new flat screen Sony KDL-40V3000. This has an integrated digital tuner. For me as a Unity media users very interesting!
Unfortunately, the TV needs an "adapter" for the Common Interface or Common Access Module. (So ​​that my smart card to unlock encrypted channels can be read.)

When adapter I decided after some positive Board contributions for this AlphaCrypt module.

Was delivered with the module firmware 3:12 - that it unfortunately does nicth. The TV does not recognize the smart card. After an update via a digital satellite receiver (instructions are available on the manufacturer website!) At 3:15 has it perfectly and works instantly without any problems with my TV!

Really great! For now I can finally throw away the lean digital receiver by the provider and I have a remote control less!
