The term of the device without firmware update is a joke with 3-6 hours. After the update, the term will be extended by a factor of 2-4, making it in the first place be used meaningfully. The firmware update to be given only after an internet search and with some expertise, because the updater for LiveView, Sony in the update software for a completely different looking and designated phone (Xperia mini) hidden!
Which is found in the normal way before!
On Android side, it is important that the software just installed, such as Sony, it provides (ie only the otherwise completely superfluous LiveWare Manager, then LiveView).
Etc. The many problems with crashes of which one often reads, my experience occurred on just when you frantically pressed simultaneously on both devices, the buttons for connection. In my experience, the connection works, however, fairly reliable, if they only initiated by LiveView and waits a moment. Ifs still does not work, usually a power cycle of the LiveView helps. The software on the smartphone I take really no longer on.
In operation, the Live View is obviously more RFCOMM ports, so that not many remain. When the Live View and a Bluetooth headset connected to my Samsung Galaxy, then can be for example, no more files via Bluetooth transferred to the PC, because too many ports are occupied.
While there are relatively many plugins for the Live View, but quite a few of them do not work and poor to affect the stability of the entire software or even the total smartphone. Because look carefully is essential. Always nice to try a plugin at a time, so you know if in doubt, why it suddenly hooked.
If you want the LV on your arm, then it is best to dispose of the miserable, supplied bracelet quickly and replace them with a reasonable 20mm watch strap on your taste.
I have the LievView reserve despite initial concerns, because for me despite occasional connection problems the utility of discrete caller display and the speed dial feature (Caller plugin) for Galaxy Note outweigh the disadvantages and it was not very expensive.
The device itself actually deserves a full five stars. A deduction there for anything but flawless firmware and software, one for the support from Sony, the label "bad" actually much too flattering.
