Here's my impression in brief
Per
-Very Good sound quality
-the price reasonable processing
-High Comfort that the headphones around the ears instead of lying to them and also the
Ironing construction practices at no point pressure
-Bass, Masterlauststärke and chat volume can be adjusted separately via a Kontrollpad
-long cable which can be controlled by a built-in "cable ties" to the desired length
-1 Set of adapter plugs for use on conventional TV sets, equipment is already at
Contra
-As Long as through the headset nothing (Music / Sound FX / ...) is output is a permanent background noise
listen to, although very quiet but ever present. Since this toured the predecessor model a known issue
was I find it particularly annoying. To switch the micro silent does not help!
Neutral
-You Hear yourself / ... speak in TS / Chat. This is possibly a positive for people who tend to always louder
If they themselves do not hear but I find it rather disturbing ... an irritating echo effect in the perception when you again listen directly what has been a split second earlier thought :).
Although the micro can total but mute the "Listen yourself" feature is only available as to
disable.
Conclusion
Overall, a strong buy recommendation unless one is sensitive to noise during the "standby operation" (CD-change on the system / PC, etc ...) or want it primarily as TS / Chat /...- have headphones and has an aversion to "self-talk")
Update: July 2013
I used my old X12 for almost 2 years and was very pleased.
After it has now been destroyed by a Unachsamkeit my part was clear to me ... it will be another X12.
But even unpack shortly after the discontent ceased ... that was no more X12 but only a botched cheap version of it.
The shell of the headphone is in the new X12 are significantly smaller and are now partially on the ear rather than to enclose it, the cuff, the bending / buckling of the cable by turning the head prevented completely missing, the cable consists of much softer material, the bracket is processed worse, ... etc.
All in all I feel dam ****, I have an Ear Force X12 and ordered a Cheap China get X12.
