The Hahnel Extreme HLX-E6 (1700 mAh, 7.2V) promises a performance edge with a robust equipment. From the mentioned product in the Video rubber coating, however I can not find anything. In principle, all 3 housing have a similar plastic quality. However, I have not the test equipment in order to detect differences clearly can. Clean look and feel nothing can be seen.
In the event the battery from 3 m height I have not performed. I must confess, that had never been an issue in my many years as a photographer. Can not remember that I ever would have fallen out of my hand a battery or would even received a blow.
The aforementioned silicon-coated Sanyo cells you have just so take note. Have not broken down the battery and hence will not be checked.
So far the battery has been used not behave negatively in the few weeks. However, I have also seen no subjectively perceptible differences from the other two batteries. Who hitherto only Canon has nachgegekauft, should definitely consider the Hahnel HLX-E6 into consideration. If prolonged use is successful with me, the Hähnel is definitely on the short list for replacement batteries. And because of the additional battery grip yes two swallows and at air shows sometimes loosely 1500 and passed through several photos per day, an additional battery for a second complete set of batteries is planned. Too early happy. After only 4 months of use, the battery capacity has decreased. The display of my 7D I get in a charged state is already a stroke less displayed. Reloading with 3 different chargers brought no change. This is to me so far happened to any other battery. He disqualified himself as an additional replacement battery for me. The next will probably again a white.
