I did not vote for the WLAN function, my printer is connected via Ethernet cable to the router. Setting fax was not a problem, the ringtone for Fax's is pleasant discreet. Everything else has already been described here.
The photos that I then printed out of curiosity, the same times after installing an SD card, were of very good quality. However, the existing selection in the printer for photo prints is somewhat limited, which is certainly better than the respective photo editing application on the PC. But at least. The advent of the photo paper tray ran perfectly for me, but you have to also pay attention to precisely fitting insert and the lateral stopper adapt well.
Nothing to complain about, then, unless you are frequently infested with great impatience, for the warm-up is in fact, as already described by others longer than usual, but the print itself is very fast and already great in the draft mode. Attention, attention, do not forget to take off the front small paper tray extension left, otherwise the prints sailing quite fast across the room !! I've only after the third or fourth bending discovered because it is displayed anywhere. Also at the rumble and Pumpeln after printing you have to get used to, no idea what makes the printer then. I am also interested, that sounds a ping when the printer has recognized the SD card or the template and is awakened from sleep. Incidentally, all the keys are labeled in English with me, but this is not a problem for me. I am writing this only because another customer reported by German labeling.
I can really recommend the device, especially because it's not as bombastic high and wide such as the 8500 series by HP.
