This sentence alone could summarize the contents of this book. No magic formula, no magic words or incantations but a long way to go with perseverance and patience to try and find a little serenity. The main avenue to explore is the awareness of the present moment through meditation which is not an easy approach, the mind being constantly asked to shirk. Try while remaining awake to focus its attention on mindfulness of the moment: HERE AND NOW. Not easy to live in the present in a world that expects everything and projects us incessantly to the future. Instinctively I do not like the future but stay immediately requires a lot of effort. Yet I feel that it would relieve me greatly. Do not cling to chimeras or hold onto fragile hopes. Accept and temporarily give up ... Accept where you are and what you are, a potion hard to swallow at times but worth being swallowed.
