With MS Word and the PC printer
I have a fairly elderly Word Version (MS Word 2002). Under Tools -> Letters and Mailings -> Envelopes and Labels -> tab "labels" -> Options can select our manufacturers Herma. The desired type "4420", however, is not among them. If this is your software and so, then there are at least three ways:
(1) set up in Word manually a template; You must submit all relevant distances and lengths of the label sheet into a table.
(2) Fast and reliable is downloading the corresponding Word template from the manufacturers website. The link I have stored in my comment on this review. In this template can now be the label text to type and print one page.
(3) Herma offers on its website free programs to print labels. The handling of this software you must of course learn it for now.
Attributes and ratings at a glance
+ Easily detachable labels
+ High mechanical processing security through good flatness and flexibility
+ No adhesive deposits or paper dust observable
+ Multiple Pass in the printer is not a problem. So you can eg. B. labeling, print and remove the top eight labels. In a second operation, set the same, now half-empty, label sheet back into the paper tray / feeder and print the remaining sticker. As often is the course will not work.
+ Relatively good glue adhesion on smooth and slightly rough surfaces and on fabrics
o After peeling a label of cotton fabrics, it is usually not reusable because adhering residual fibers affect the adhesive surface
o The gentle opening of the package is not easy; with careful handling it is but good reclosable
- Identification of the appropriate printer type exists on the package, but m. E. improvement. There should be large and clear: "Not for inkjet printers!"
Summary
Quality has its price. There are probably cheaper labels that might not at all times have to be bad. Will or can not take any risks, you should trust in branded products such as these. Since I have no means of comparison with similar products from other manufacturers, I can only state that these labels will serve their purpose.
