I already have the B + and the new P2 of Raspberry. Now I wanted to have a "workhorse", in which you simply can try something. (GPIO's, etc.). For the Rapi A is ideal, especially since he (as of mid 2012) is well prepared with an old 2GB large Raspbian software. So far so good, but who believes now - great because I only have one USB port I just close a hub 1 to 4, and then insert Mouse and Wireless Keyboard on, you are wrong !!!!. Why, the Raspi A can really just "A" USB connector with power supply, and both my wireless adapter, the B + and the P2 run on the super, draw too much "juice". This can be remedied only with an active USB hub. Then everything works beautifully. Who has ever worked with "startx" to the GUI interface, will quickly discover the 256MB but are just slightly mikrig. But If you want to as I directly without GUI interface with the Raspi A work (I use mostly Python), for which he is the right choice and unbeatable for the price. I can therefore only advise to deal again with this "part" - it's addictive.
