For me, this gamepad is really just for my laptop with Windows 8.1 is of interest, where I use it also.
At first glance, the gamepad makes a solid impression, the structure of the controllers XBox is not dissimilar. Both Steuerknüppelchen and the D-pad are beautifully smooth and not rake, or are not spongy. Insofar also all right. In addition, you can still switch between game mode, mouse mode and computer mode when you want to use the gamepad as a mouse replacement, for example. On a mobile device certainly very nice, but the notebook for me is also not relevant.
The recognition under Windows 8.1 ran on the Bluetooth device discovery from without a problem and the device is detected and installed.
The use of the games that I use (eg LEGO Lord of the Rings, etc.) also works well and without problems.
So much for a really appealing gamepad. But there is also next to some points that I do not like so well. That the gamepad is powered by two batteries, do not use a built-in battery, is to get over yet. However, the battery compartment has the great disadvantage that it protrudes on the bottom and does not have a fixed shutter. You can open this loose accidentally with a finger, so that the lid just drops. This has happened several times to me. Here is an embedded battery cover would have been better to not depend on the lid to stay.
One can the gamepad theoretically operate with a micro USB cable, but the connection hidden in a really bad place, because this is located in the battery compartment.
What is also striking something negative the low range of the controller, because even at a distance of 2 to 3 m from the notebook, the connection is bad and you lose it. This could possibly also simply be due to the connection to my laptop, because I can not understand this at other notebooks, but this struck me rather uncomfortable. One gets the gamepad in hand, is about to to get something in the same room, and already has the connection been capped and the game could not therefore be continued.
Conclusion: The gamepad is quite ok, but not really outstanding.
