Benefits:
-Very Solid. The chain is moved with enormous force. Controlled by us window is on the 1st floor, so quite safe from burglars, but also on the ground floor I would have no hesitation to leave the window handle to position open while the only chain to hold the window
- The opening process and closing process takes only a few seconds. From the belly I would tap 5 seconds. Have not stopped.
Disadvantages:
-Unfortunately Quite noisy. We use the part in the master bedroom, where we can close the window if there is more than 30 km / h Wind and rains. Varies the wind by 30 km / h, the window opens / closes at night several times, this can be annoying really. The engine itself is not even necessarily the most disturbing. It's more of a height Pipes, which seems to be the control of itself.
-Start- And end point can not be adjusted, the holder must be exactly at the same height as the window sash. This is certainly in the minority of cases like this. I'd like a window driving as the HomeMatic. So quite noiseless, adjustable and reliable. This but not with battery power but mains voltage. Unfortunately, I have not yet found something.
