In principle, the adapter complies with its task. A major problem, however, is that the fit to the foreign outlets (in our case, Australian) is just too bad. It has sometimes minutes (no exaggeration) lasted until I had the adapter "wobbled" in a position in which he got water from a tap. And I always had to "push handle" both the whole adapter, as well as the removable bracket with the German wall outlet. So much so, originated the partially clearly audible voltages in the device. The fact is that there was no "universal position", in which the adapter has been working well. So it was not a question, particularly firmly push it into the socket or support from among ect. With each new outlet and try the experiments went off from the front and took some minutes. If the design has finally delivered electricity, just leave it alone, so that the device does not stop the power source. This was true for the rest of all outlets in Australia, in hotels, in campers, in shops, etc. No matter where we wanted our camera, or the camera recharge in between, it was nerve-racking. I am not at all happy with this adapter!
