Once I have some HDMI display port cables and adapters tested, I have now gained this high-priced adapter, and lo and behold it works !!
In Vilen adapters there is the problem that both PC and monitor is in Power Save Mode land, and it is very annoying (eg simultaneous connection of a VGA cable) or not at all possible to bring the picture to life.
This adapter has the problem, at least for me, not.
