I run the Ligawo on a Sony KV-32FX68E tube TV. The adapter does what he is - he produced a flawless S-video signal with a very quiet, beautiful image. Maybe a little bit of lack of focus, but from a distance from the bed you do not see that. Since this is a 16: 9 TV is, I have no problems with side distortions HDMI signals coming from the playback end BD players already in this format. With all tried out signals (576p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p) is the adapter can flourish. The players coming from the audio signals (PCM) are properly decoded and output to the RCA jacks. However, the output signal is a little weak on the chest, so that I have to turn on the TV a bit noisy.
The one negative of me - in my opinion - quite a large overscan, which unfortunately does not can be set. It lacks an estimated 7-9% around what is scarce for some of my player menus. There, ads and labels are cut.
For the excessive overscan there's a trigger, otherwise I am very satisfied with this product.
