I need this cable to connect a notebook (Lenovo Thinkpad T530) via a KVM switch (Aten CS1762A) to a monitor (Eizo FlexScan S2133). Unlike another MDP to DVI adapter cable (ASIN: B00J5DLZMA) works this cable immediately. The monitor is correctly recognized by the laptop and shown the picture perfect. The length of 1m is ideal; so you have under your desk unnecessarily much "clutter".
