For the application of care products I find the sponge useful and good, because the care is seemingly better introduced by the movements of the brush in the skin than without. Unfortunately, the sponges suck despite cleaning the product fully, so that the sponges of hygiene are not necessarily optimal. Here the brushes from Braun are clearly at an advantage because they can be much better clean compared to the sponge.
Even the application of makeup is very possible with the sponges. Even difficult spots on the eyes and nose can be managed well and also on the end application of the make-up's Without Borders is very doable with the sponges. Here the sponges have me but a positive surprise.
Unfortunately, I very well here the problem is that the sponge does not clean too well and thus over time is unsanitary.
Although the usability by the manufacturer is indicated by 3 months, I personally, however, would change the sponge at the latest after 1 month to ensure the hygiene. And this is precisely where the cosmetic sponges are of no interest to me, since the costs and benefits are in my opinion in any balanced ratio. After all, one obtains normal cosmetic sponges for a fraction of the price and can achieve as good a result with this. An added value of the sponge of Brown's for me when applying make-up in order not be seen and is for me only in the application of care products, as I here have a feeling that the products are slightly better incorporated into the skin than normal.
If the result for me is that the sponges are indeed not bad, but I do not personally the price of the low added value, clearly too high, especially since I would change the sponges of hygiene monthly.
