After much research I found on the web that it can be ZoneAlarm blame. But it is not enough to disable the program, you must do the following:
- Disable WLAN, uninstall any drivers
- Uninstall ZoneAlarm
- Stick stuck and install driver
- Power is now found, connect to the router
- Install ZoneAlarm again
Unfortunately, in neither AVM still at CSL somewhere a info how to solve such a problem that is likely to be widely used safely (neither in the manual nor in the FAQs I've found something).
Average consumer finds this solution hardly himself and escape unnecessarily to the stick manufacturers.
Also I have previously purchased the Fritz stick safely unnecessarily returned, he could not help it secure.
The PC is not very favorable with respect to coverage, 2 rooms away, walls in between. Nevertheless, I have very good signal strength of 70 ... 90% at this location and usually a data rate of 130 ... 144 Mb / s! This is much more than with the old stick and absolutely fine.
Both with my old Fritz-Stick as well as in my smartphone be found locally 9 WLAN networks. The drive here is 21 networks!
So much for the sensitivity and range. I'm very satisfied.

After a few days use, I regret to correct my previous review. Main deficiency is a totally false indication of the actual data rate, both in the Utilities Realtek as well similar then the Windows Status window of the Wireless Network Connection.
As reported here 130 ... 144 Mb / s is displayed. Stutzig but made me when I was watching that this is only displayed in idle. Once really larger amounts of data transfer, the display breaks masiv together up to 7 or even only 1 Mb / s!
Nevertheless, the web pages while surfing the Internet rely on the customary speed. I have therefore installed me another Network Monitor. But the shows despite Realtek display of 1 Mb / s between 10 ... 12 Mb / s! This is the well-known maximum of my DSL connection.
Now that I've ever looked into the router (Fritz! Box 7330). There is a data rate 39 Mb / s displayed (a credible value) while Realtek further 130 Mb / s displays, so a fantasy value.
Conclusion: The display of the data rate in the Realtek Utility is completely wrong. At idle, it displays far too much and far too little in the load case, but in no case the real data rate. Seen in the stick is getting worse rather than a FRITZ! WLAN, to also operate its tools even better. He promises more than it can hold.
