For loop itself: Comfortable to wear. The band cut I took my time and always only seen during the day, how transmits the new length and whether it really needs to be even shorter. Tip: The loop checks on the lower charging port if skin contact is made (ie whether one wears the loop or not). He sits too loosely, you will be at night probably the odd break provoke (ok in my case, however, since I prefer to wear it also in addition to the million and not run around with "blue" Hand ;-)) ,
Sense or nonsense of the type of device was left once ignored now. For me it's funny to track the day a bit based on the data.
Finally, the thing also clock is for me (I also find chic because exceptionally).
Last tip in the end (though is also in the instructions, but who reads the already ;-)): One synchronizes indeed normally not 100 times a day. If you want that the battery lasts longer, you can move the loop in the flight mode. Then he does not look every time after contact, if you just want to display what (data he collects indeed in flight mode as normal). Just let the time display, and then again press the button and hold for eight seconds (after two or three seconds appears a decreasing bar on the display when the message is gone, the Airplane mode). To back off the button just two or three seconds and hold (appears again).
Overall, even in relation to the price, a good buy!
Update 8/13/2014:
After a week I have to say I do not want to miss the thing. The following insights I have gained in the week:
- Important !: If you do an exercise that does not require the steps of (eg ergometer training), but holds the training with the heart rate monitor, it is actually recognized as training and fills the Activity Bar (I wonder how other trackers without want to get along pulse detection since fall bike ride there probably out)
- The Activity Bar is perhaps only a "Mäusekino" me has motivated them twice already, but still move me (at a sports day, it is super-easy to fill the bar; for a seated working you have to but a bit try -> well-balanced)
- The Inactivity Alert is mega-useless since I only retrospectively see him after the sync in the app. Without alarm, or at least display on your wrist nonsense
- I have to load about every two days (Romanian press but also half the day on the thing)
- The calorie display (BMR + Training) is great if you want a bit of decline. I see the direct effects of sport, and easily getting a bit topsy remain with the food calories (slavishly exactly should you's I do not take, but as an indication it's great)
- How can other Tracker not be waterproof? I have the loop at the time, even in the shower and just when sweaty sports. Works great.
- The sleep phase calculation could be great. It is relatively unlikely in my view that I pick up the tracker times in the middle of the night of fun for 10 minutes. That should be using software to solve.
- At least for me, the step counter is really accurate. In a country run I counted 400 steps. The loop had recorded 406. Super! One should not be fooled by the Steps display itself, which does not count in real-time high. The loop gathers seemingly only a bit and then evaluates.
After the week is my first positive impression has really strengthened. In particular, the status of "non-run" Trek is absolutely great for me! I would buy it to me again.
Update 2/17/2015:
Loop has its king found: M400.
The Loop has become not one bit worse. Only when I compare the price-performance ratio with the new M400, the loop loses mercilessly.
The M400 can be anything that the loop can, plus:
- Display the time permanently
- Record the route via GPS (incl. Speed, altitude and the whole frippery)
- Show all data (percent target achievement, past training) directly
- Perform fitness tests
- With the strong backlighting (by pressing a button activated) the way to the toilet at night show
- Also sometimes spend a week without charging
- Display how full (or empty) the battery is
The M400 is kind of dream come true, the irons out all the shortcomings of the Loop. If the few euros still remain: Better to buy the same M400. 60 euros more, but three times as many functions.
Again: The loop is seen to be a great tracker. But for the few euros more (you wear that thing indeed more than just a few days) you get a much better price-performance ratio.
