Works, with one caveat

In Windows 7 and including running the converter with the drivers Windows own. In Windows 8, the part is running well, but you have to install an older driver in 2011. The chip PL2303 HXA used here is outdated, the current driver supports only the new versions HXD etc. If a Windows Update, it could be that the new version is automatically installed, then you have to manually go back to the old driver. The installer is for the older, working driver
