So first I must say that the Black Keys currently are my absolute "favorite band". I like just totally the music. But with "Attack & Release" I'm definitely not satisfied. The music style is perhaps similar but of the feelings of the mood that comes across is the album completely anderst. Somehow each title which totally melancholic and bedrängendes se. When I listen option I am me the other 4 albums always in a good mood, the songs ham something powerful, brute, stimulating, maybe alittle bit aggresives where you want to be active it easy. On the new album, the one half of the songs first totally lame and eg rhythmically absolutely not as dominant emphasizes how it is used by the Black Keys. And those who have what of the usual instrumentation, still come over melancholic. Depressing and melancholy are precisely the two adjectives that I can what I do not like about this album is best expressed, and the description is just a stark contrast to the old albums. And concerning the sound is largely absent easy even this Dirty and Minimalist. But as I said, otherwise the band is just my absolute favorite. So for all the other albums and EPs applies: buy, buy, buy!
