A native of Detroit soul singer K'Jon has a long way behind. He was first seen publicly as an opener for UA Ne-Yo and Ludacris and a track on the soundtrack 2fast2furious. His career started slow and bumpy, often he was plagued by self-doubt, wondering if he would find a place in the business. All his feelings and experiences he let flow into his songs and with 'On the Ocean' he landed this summer then his first big hit. K'Jon affects his stories authentic and warm, so very different from the mainstream chirping. Instead tinny sounds, we get to hear on his album beautifully arranged instruments, combined with a voice that can only invite you to dream and wants!
