Anonymous has never been a "great" writer. Tetralogy of Bourbon Kid was a big delusion assumed, funny, mixing antagonistic universe everything is, but the books were not well written. With this Psycho Killer, Anonymous continues not write well, but it lacks slightly as inspiration. Yet everything starts well, with a chapter worthy of the best urban legends. Furthermore, the action takes place in a city built on the level of B-movies, pure curveball films which the book is supposed to honor. it all felt good. Only the curveball is not going quite to the end and only scratches the potential there was, as if Anonymous had been too afraid to dent the films he loves and that he is afraid to confront . Moreover, the characters are too homogenous, while the tetralogy of Bourbon Kid developed many characters with strong characters, here there are many characters, but only 3-4 are really striking and distinct from the crowd of others. Finally, salacious and scat jokes are too numerous and poorly fed. In short, it takes no displeasure to read the book (well, generally), and indeed, the surviving characters could very well be réexploités in any further (why not a crossover with the Bourbon Kid), it would still present, but this book which was based on good ideas deserved better.
